5 people died from tornadoes in the US
Intense tornadoes attacked a large area in the Midwestern United States last weekend, leaving at least five people dead in Oklahoma and about 30 others injured.

Tornadoes have occurred in a number of states like Oklahoma, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska.
The US National Weather Agency said it had received at least 120 tornado reports as of April 15 and was trying to confirm how many tornadoes actually occurred.
Cases of death occurred before dawn in Woodward, Oklahoma, after the alarms did not ring, officials said. 3 children were among those killed.
A tornado caused great damage there, mainly in the west of the town. At least 29 people were injured.
Rescue teams searched the ruins of those stranded or injured in Woodward, where strong winds damaged houses, turned trees and cut off power lines.
In Iowa, a tornado destroyed large areas of Thurma town on April 14, but did not seriously injure anyone.
A tornado caused widespread power outages and other damages in Wichita, Kansas.
Since the beginning of the year, tornadoes in the US have claimed at least 39 lives.
In early March, a series of tornadoes attacked Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Georgia and Alabama states, causing great human and property losses.
