The massive squirrel is 1.7 meters long and weighs more than 75kg, swallowing the tern in one stroke to stop the opponent from prey. The BBC film crew recorded the scene off the island nation of Seychelles while executing a series of natural history films Blue Planet II and Long Room yesterday reported.

Earlier, the mackerel tracked the flight of the tern and benchmarked the time when the bird swept the most water surface to make a decisive blow."Seeing a fish fly by is an unexpected thing, but seeing it both as a body and a bird catches the bird is great. The fish jumps up with extraordinary speed and catches terns in the air. We recorded the hunt with super slow motion effects , " said James Honeyborne, producer of the series.

Giant parrotfish can hunt alone or in a herd. Their hunting lures are tens of thousands of terns taking off from the coastlines in the Indian and Pacific oceans. Strong and aggressive, the fish often eat other fish, even immature turtles and baby dolphins.

The grouper is considered as a worthwhile reward for recreational fishermen because they often struggle violently and can break the line. They have a maximum speed of 60km / h and can jump high.
