Admire the youngest and smallest black hole in the universe

With the help of the Chandra X-ray Observatory astronomers, NASA scientists have found evidence of the existence of a black hole ...

At a press conference held yesterday morning, November 16, NASA said it was a new black hole formed 30 years ago and is located in the constellation M10 50 million light-years from Earth. This black hole was created in the SN 1979C supernova explosion, the supernova was discovered in 1979.

According to NASA , the explosion could help scientists learn more about the explosions of massive stars as well as how to form black holes or neutron stars.

However, although scientists think this is a young black hole, there are many opinions that do not exclude the possibility that this is a neutron star. If this hypothesis is true, then SN 1979C will become the youngest neutron star. The most ' young ' neutron star ever known was formed 950 years ago.

" This is an event of great significance, which is also the difference of the Chandra X-ray telescope. It can help people find similar stories and bring the truth of the matter to us , "said Jon Morse , NASA's astrophysics officer.
