Advertising in the sky
A new technology developed by researchers from the AIST Institute of Science and Technology (Japan) will soon allow the creation of three-dimensional images in the air.
This technology projects intense laser beams into the air. This ray can not be seen with the naked eye, but it can turn gas molecules in one part of the plasma host to emit visible light rays.
By projecting multiple laser columns into the air and distributing appropriate plasma emission points, scientists were able to create simple three-dimensional images in space.
As it is improved, a laser generator that uses this technology will be able to emit more laser at the same time into the air to produce higher-resolution complex images. This fine-tuning technology can be used to create shimmering advertising images floating in the air.
