As we all know, the helmets on the market today have the disadvantage is only a layer of transparent glass so that we can see clearly at night but the day we are forced to wear sunglasses inside for dazzling help. There are also a number of companies offering solutions that include two shades of sunglasses for the day, and for the night, but also soon show the inconvenience.

That's why the AGV uses electrochromic electrochromic technology on a car dash mirror to put on a helmet so that only one button on the helmet can switch from shade to shade or vice versa.

More specifically, between the two layers of glass will have a film with electrochemical objects sensitive to electricity. As the current flows through, the objects return to the position that prevents light from passing through and acts as a sunglass. When the power is off, the objects will arrange so that the light can pass as much as possible.

If you still remember, Skully has taken this electro-optical technology into a full-face helmet concept that integrates its HUD display. Unfortunately, it has not been sold yet.

In particular, AGVisor glass will be water resistant. When used in shady mode (low pass light) for daytime use, the glass can stand for 12 hours, while in indoor mode for night, the glasses can operate for 50 hours. AGVisor AGV helmets can be fully charged for up to two hours, accompanied by an AGV-certified antifreeze.

AGV says it will soon apply AGVisor technology to its AGV Pista, Corsa, and GT Veloce helmets. The expected price for the AGVisor glass add-on is about $ 225 before the helmet price is calculated.
