" This trend can only end when the media find a solution to make a profit from online services to make up for the loss of paper products business ."
Challenger said that today's information firms have no choice but to build a solid position for themselves online, otherwise they will face the risk of "being washed into oblivion". . These firms themselves must also compete with emerging bloggers as a "people's press" phenomenon, attracting a lot of attention from the Internet user community.
Statistics from a new survey by the Pew Research Center show that more than 50 million Americans now turn to reading electronic newspapers. Only 17% of them said they still read newspapers sometimes. The number of Americans who have read newspapers has doubled compared to 2000.
" Everything that you can only find on paper now has appeared on the Internet. The strong downward trend in the paper business will continue ."
