Farmer Andrew Bate, who created the grassroots, said his robot was simple and quite small, unlike big machines that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

It is expected that the robot will be mass-produced to hit the market later this year.

The grassroots robot has just been introduced at a robot workshop in the field of agriculture at the University of Sydney.

Dr Robert Fitch, of the Australian Center for Robotic Development (ACFR), said at the conference that he is also working on a small but agile, slow- Standing and pulling grass without soil compacted.

According to Dr Robert, using robots is a new paradigm in farming, so that farmers can reduce their labor power while maximizing agricultural productivity.
