Apple launches iPhone application development platform
It is expected that next week on the occasion of the Conference to introduce iPhone software development strategy, Apple will officially launch the application development support package (SDK) exclusively for this smartphone product.
In October 2007, Apple first introduced a package of tools to support iPhone application development with the software development community. According to Appel CEO Steve Jobs, the iPhone SDK is not only a platform for developing iPhone-compatible applications, but also gives users better security.
Since the launch of the iPhone so far, Apple has not once accepted third-party software. In order to be able to install these software, users often have to use the 'jailbreak' unlock tool.
But using these tools, users will lose the opportunity to enjoy warranty from Apple while facing many security risks or device failure. Apple itself has also upgraded its iPhone firmware to prevent third-party software.
Conference to introduce iPhone software development strategy will be held on March 6 here.
