Asia-Pacific PC revenue increased by 15%

Market research firm IDC predicts revenue from PC business in the Asia-Pacific region - excluding Japan - will increase by 15% compared to the same period last year.

It is estimated that in the third quarter of this year, the Asia-Pacific market will consume about 12.6 million PC products.

According to IDC, the growing demand for laptop products in this market is the reason why PC revenue has achieved such high growth this year.

Chinese computer maker Lenovo continues to be the region's PC market leader with 20% market share. HP ranked second with 12.2%, standing next to Dell with 7.7%.
