A pair of mottled green tree frogs. Usually a male holds the back of a female to irrigate the egg to the egg and rubs the back leg with the white foam. In order to make sure eggs after fertilization fall down to where there is water, the female climbs up to the branches above where there is water to spawn. However, if there are other males around, they also participate in this process.

Frog eggs will hatch into tadpoles and fall into the water. The entire development of tadpoles will take place in the water. At first, tadpoles had no limbs, breathing with gills and eating moss. It will then form the four limbs, the tail will gradually fade and go up to live. Light green frogs hide under the light brown skin. When they have a body length of about 35mm, bright spots or rust color appear. On the picture is a tadpole in the phase of ending its tail.

Spotted green frog is a quite gentle species. Like other wildlife, mottled green frogs have a very important role in the ecosystem. In addition, this tree frog also contributes to control of harmful insects. However, they are threatened by loss of habitat or being hunted excessively for the needs of food or brought back as pets.
