Marvel at giant frogs, 1m long, 8kg heavy

Goliath is confirmed by biologists as the largest frog in the world.

Their leaps and bounds can be as far as 3m. Along with the long tongue, giant frogs can easily "snuggle" their prey in a snap. Even a mouse could hardly escape death when Goliath frogs blew their tongue out.

However, the favorite dish of giant frogs is still insects, shrimp, crabs, small snakes, small fish. Sometimes they eat the same kind as the frogs.

The Creator gave the giant frog Goliath good hearing, but made them "dumb", because they had no larynx. Like other frogs, during the breeding season Goliath male frogs will play the role of incubating eggs in the mouth. In each parity, thousands of tadpoles will be born.

Other frogs, when it comes to their fertility season, male frogs will make "critical" sounds to attract their partners. And the male giant Goliath frogs do not know what to shout, so attracting their mates is still a mystery to scientists.

Although it is a giant frog, the tadpole of this species is quite small, they are only 1.4cm long. Tadpoles and Goliath frogs are difficult to survive in the natural environment, because of many dangers lurking from other species. They also eat each other, so the number of frogs that can survive to adulthood is minimal.

Meat of this giant frog is white, sweet, so many gourmets are willing to spend a lot of money to enjoy them. Even people find ways to get them and raise them as pets in the garden.

Currently, the habitat conditions are narrow, the rivers become polluted, the massive fishing situation, has caused a dramatic decline in the number of giant frogs.
