The survey results from the University of Toronto (Canada) found a connection between people with baldness and high risk of developing cancer in men.
The cause of this condition remains unknown, but experts say it may be related to high levels of testosterone, hormones that trigger the growth of cancer cells and at the same time prevent hair growth.
The Daily Mail quoted team leader Neil Fleshner as saying that if the results were repeated in other studies, it could serve as a warning sign for future cancer.
The more bald they are, the more likely they are to have prostate cancer, and these people should quickly biopsy their cells to determine their health status, according to Dr. Fleshner.
