According to archaeologists, the god statue was identified from the eighth century, this is the most valuable discovery in Binh Thuan and is one of the new and valuable discoveries in Vietnamese archeology.

Previously, at Phu Truong vestige (Phu Long town, Ham Thuan Bac district - Binh Thuan), archaeologists have excavated and discovered a large amount of relics and relics such as stone axes and burial jars. , ceramic pot, thread set, jewelry .

The boldest mark of this site is the art of carving on pottery. Decorative patterns also include types such as engraved lines with dot dots, fish bone patterns, carved checkered lines, printed shells edge, embossed, dotted with multiple teeth .

According to Dr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Director of Vietnam History Museum, with some artifacts found, it can be affirmed that Phu Truong relic is a relic belonging to Sa Huynh culture.

Currently Binh Thuan has very large reserves of Sa Huynh relics. Almost on the coastal sand dunes along Ham Thuan Nam and Ham Thuan Bac districts, there are relics of this type.

However, these relics are in danger of being wiped out by the detection of illegal artifacts; activities of sand mining and other people's activities . Therefore, it is necessary to quickly zone for protection of relics.

According to the plan, the museum will continue to promote survey activities, especially on the sand dunes distributed in the coastal estuary, proceeding to build a map of Sa Huynh relics in Binh Thuan province.
