Previously, heavy rain lasted on September 10, making hundreds of cubic meters of sand from titanium mining mines spilling over dragon fruit gardens and pouring into the inside of Mr. Tran Van Chau's house, about 60m away from the dump.

According to statistics, there have been nearly 200 burnt-down dragon fruits, of which 66 pillars were buried at the top, some of the auxiliary works inside the house were damaged.

The bank break also caused an amount of oil in the company's tank to spill out, causing a strong smell.

Thankfully, the problem does not cause human damage.

In the morning of September 11, it was still heavy rain, sand continued to follow the rain pouring into people's houses. In Mr. Tran Van Chau's house, people are still pouring sand into the kitchen area.

A garden behind Mr. Chau's house, many of the dragon's heads were only raised to the top of the thick sand. The harvested 4-year-old dragon fruit garden of Mr. Chau's family was buried by sand.

The waste sand has also spilled around Mr. Chau's house from 0.4 to 0.6m and some sand has poured into the house with a thickness of about 0.2m.

As soon as the incident occurred, the local youth force and the people helped to move Mr. Chau's property out of the danger zone.

According to the people here, there was a warning before that the company dumped waste sand into a too high hill (30m above the ground), which easily caused landslides but the company did not overcome.

After checking the scene, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Binh Thuan requested Duong Anh Joint Stock Company to suspend mining activities, quickly remedy the problem, wait for the competent authorities' handling.

At the same time, the Department asked the mining unit to coordinate with local authorities to agree on compensation for the people, and at the same time take appropriate measures to transport and handle waste sand to continue to spill. fill down the residential area.
