The ability of these two animals to learn has been a huge question for scientists. But so far, research from Charles University (Czech Republic) has discovered that in the tiny brain of birds contains more brain cells than most mammals today.

Specifically, experts tested brain cells of 32 different bird species, including crows, parrots, ostriches and owls. Using a neuronal counting system, they found that the bird's brain had a larger number of brain cells than mammals. For example, the sparrow - only one-ninth weight, but the rate of brain cells is 2.3 times more.
