Breakthrough in spider costume
Soldiers of the future will be able to use spider's special outfits to walk on standing surfaces and even claw to the ceiling.
BAE Systems has developed a material that resembles the chameleon's foot so that it can be attached to the vertical glass.

The research is still in its early stages, but the company says the infantry outfits will be made from this material, giving the army the ability to climb like gecko.
A government organization has shown interest in new materials for use in detective work.
The gecko feet are covered with tiny feathers that make it possible to attach effectively to anything it touches.
"We have created a small amount of this material and have demonstrated it on the glass surface, proving that the product is very potential," said Jeff Sargent, a physicist at BAE System .
