Can cure 'old disease'

These studies were conducted at the Moscow Veterinary Academy. Hundreds of mice with 12 different old diseases have been successfully treated by us.

In my opinion, aging is a ' disease ' that can be cured like any other disease. If I cure the " old disease " for humans, I will also cure cancer and stroke are common diseases of the elderly.

In 2002, scientists received the Nobel Prize for discovering genes in the Nematoda worm that limited their lifespan . Scientists have removed the gene and extended the life of the worm by 7 times. Did you discover that gene in humans?

There is a theory that in the cell there are genes that make up the mechanism called 'programmed death' when the body has exhausted its potential for life. Meanwhile, some animals such as fish, turtles, whales and some large birds continue to grow and reproduce until the last days before dying.

In fact, it can be said in these animals there is no old phenomenon. Everyone has the impression that aging is the process of accelerating the body-made evolution when conditions are not met.

The aging process begins at a time when the body ends its development. In fact, good and stress-free living conditions can avoid aging.

From the biochemical point of view, the aging process is caused by the concentration of toxic compounds of oxygen accumulating at too high levels inside living cells. Oxygen is a factor that creates life by providing energy to cells. But it is oxygen itself to a certain time that becomes a double-edged sword.

It is very risky to conduct genetic interventions for genes that determine cell death. So we decided to fight the toxic free radicals of oxygen and thereby eliminate the programmed mechanism of aging and death.

Medical experts, who have not mastered the extremely delicate mechanisms of life, have long advised elderly people to take vitamin E and vitamin C. They were right because these vitamins have the effect of neutralizing the toxic compounds of oxygen.

The results of his research with animals are truly impressive and create promise. So when will you turn to human experiments?

We have the participation of research institutes of the Russian Academy of Medicine. We have only recently experimented with human cervical cells and have blocked the suicide of cells.

We have cured the blindness of ornamental animals that are too old, but that does not mean that we have created anti-aging drugs for humans because the human eye is different from the animal eyes. The most important thing is that we have discovered the scientific principle to stop the aging process.

We will not stop here. But you may also agree with me that our goal is not to extend life but to extend youth. This is also one of our efforts to find the scientific truth to serve the great benefit of improving the quality of human life on the planet.
