After putting the fish on the shore, the fish is placed outdoors to display for visitors to see. However, the fish quickly died and began to rot.

On the third day, fishermen were forced to cut the giant fish before it rotted completely. Fish meat is then brought to a landfill, where they often dump dead fish to wild animals, mostly bears.

Immediately after the incident, a series of social criticism aimed at the fishermen when they let the moon fish lie outside and die. Local scientists vehemently condemned this action and argued that they should have preserved it and sent it to the museum.

A netizen shared: "Why didn't they take a picture? The fish is miserable".

"It is a cruel act. It should be able to live comfortably on the ocean floor" - others are annoyed.
