Catch the record heavy black carp in Hanoi

After nearly 4 hours of enthralling in the middle of the night, the group of fishermen caught the black carp weighing 56 kg, 1.3 m long in a lake in Dong Anh district. This is a carp with a record weight captured in Hanoi.

According to Nguyen Tien Bai, An Duong ward (Tay Ho, Hanoi), around 23h30 on the night of May 17, he and his three friends were sitting at the Min lake in Phuong Trach village, Vinh Ngoc commune (Dong Anh, Hanoi), suddenly heard a rumble. " The water surface shook, like someone jumped into a lake to swim. A few minutes later the fish caught a hook," Bai said.

After nearly 4 hours of luring out the fish, the group of workers waded into the lake to bring it to shore. It is a black carp 1.3 m long, 85 cm waist, 42 cm wide tail . Each fin is 7 cm wide. " Luckily due to the long towing time, it was exhausted, not struggling, so when it was very easy to go ashore ," Bai said.

Immediately after that the team brought the fish home to make meat. When they underwent an operation, they obtained an ovary weighing up to 9 kg.

Ho Min is located in Phuong Trach village, Vinh Ngoc commune, Dong Anh district, 20 km north of central Hanoi. The lake is about 700 m ² , 30 years ago is a brick kiln, the deepest section is about 3 meters, the shallow section is just over a meter. Ho has been bidding for people and turned to fishing services for many years. Because there are many types of big fish, the lake attracts many fishermen all day and night.

Each scale is 7 cm long.

The black carp is the largest fish ever discovered in Hanoi. Black carp caught in West Lake in 2009 weighs only 37.5 kg.
