The research group in Assam state in northeastern India believes that chewable tablets and healthy drinks will cause fever in the market.
"The tablet is completely safe and can be chewed or sucked in the tongue, instead of having to drink with water as usual," said Mridul Hazarika. "We believe that tea tablets will refresh and inspire people like drinking a hot cup of tea."
" Tea cola " tablets will be available in both green and black colors . "And a carbonated beverage is made from natural extracts from tea, there are many medicinal properties in it," Hazarika said.
India is the largest tea producer in the world, of which Assam accounts for 55% of the 955 million kg of dry tea leaves produced in the world in 2006.
