For liquid ink, the user must attach the ink bottle to a nozzle and the head will run back and forth to print the image.
New ink is different. It is heated, melted, and then dripped into a large film the size of paper.
From here, with heat and pressure, images are printed. This ink melts at temperatures from 70 to 100 degrees Celsius.
Especially, the above ink is more environmentally friendly than the current popular types.
According to CNET News, the new ink reduces up to 90% of the environmental impact compared to the current ink.
Xerox said the new product will hit the market this year.
