On the morning of November 22, a group of reporters was present at Hoang Lien Center for Rescue, Conservation and Biological Development (Lao Cai). Here, the Center's leader said that 4 kangaroos were transferred by the Forest Ranger Department of Thach An district (Cao Bang) a few days ago.

According to the handover record from Cao Bang Forest Ranger, 4 kangaroos were discovered with the scientific name Notamacropus rufogriseus, weighing from 7.6 to 8.8 kg and all were gray. Among them, 3 individuals are male, 1 individual is female.

The area where kangaroos are raised is separated from the outdoor area by an iron fence.

Inside there is a care area, surrounded by corrugated iron and covered with wooden panels.

The main food of these kangaroos is dry grass and fruits.

Currently, the condition of all 4 kangaroos is very healthy.

Previously, on the morning of November 8, people discovered the first kangaroo at Bac Quang Pass, Duc Long commune, Thach An district (Cao Bang). At 8:30 p.m. the same day, people along with forest rangers and border guards used nets to capture and bring the kangaroo to a safe place.

On the morning of November 9, two other kangaroos continued to be discovered on the inter-commune roadside, near the bush.

The fourth kangaroo was discovered by Thach An District Forest Ranger on the morning of November 11.

On November 16, Thach An District Forest Ranger Department assigned these animals to the Hoang Lien Center for Rescue, Conservation and Biological Development for rescue, care and conservation.
