Video: Kangaroo 'fight' with domestic dog and unexpected ending

However, the dogs still approached and barked continuously. Soon, the kangaroo caught a black dog and fought with it. Despite having a larger number, the dogs then had to quickly leave due to their opponents' aggression.

"I was walking my dog ​​along a creek in my backyard when a kangaroo jumped up and tried to fight. Then it jumped into the creek and my dogs chased it but I was afraid the kangaroo would drown them so I Stop filming and hit it with a stick until it jumps away," the cameraman said.

Kangaroo expert Alyssa Wormald said: 'Kangaroos do not lure dogs into danger, they retreat to the water as a last resort to defend themselves from attack . They fought back just to defend themselves and that is clearly shown in the clip."

After watching the clip, Deakin University wildlife ecologist Professor Euan Ritchie also commented on this issue.
