Coming with the most beautiful meteor shower of the year

Night 12 dawn on August 13, Vietnamese astronomers will have the opportunity to admire the Perseid meteor shower, one of the two biggest meteor showers of the year.

Perseid meteor shower takes place every year from July 23 to August 20, reaching a maximum on the night of 12:00 am on August 13 at 20-22:30 on August 12.

Observers should choose the time from midnight, when the moon has set to admire the Perseid meteor shower with a density of up to 80 meteor tracks per hour. Look at the northeast sky where there is the constellation Perseus (Brother Fairy) and Mirfak 's bright star of the constellation. Choose dark place, less light and no air pollution.

Along with the Geminids meteor shower, Perseid meteor shower is one of the two largest meteor showers of the year. It is made up of the remaining dust of the comet Swift-Tuttle when traveling to Earth and dropping again.
