The technology of computer control by the movement of the body has achieved many strides. One of the most successful products is the Microsoft Kinect Sensor. Based on the hardware NUIA eyeCharm has been improved to be able to control the computer based on the movement of the eye. NUIA eyeCharm is currently raising money on Kickstarter.

At $ 60, users will get an eyeCharm - a Kinect extension that will replace the mouse on a computer. By using an invisible infrared light source on the face, it accurately detects any movement on your eyes. The algorithms analyze the natural motion from the eyes plus the physical calculations that give the location (the same as the cursor position) and understand what the user wants to do (similar to clicking, hold down the mouse, double click, ...)

With NUIA eyeCharm, users can play games, draw, photoshop and more. To be compatible with software, manufacturers also release SDKs for developers that support multiple languages.

NUIA eyeCharm is expected to be delivered to the first customers in August this year.
