According to the researchers, assessing the number of seabirds is important for preserving them. Seabirds cannot live near humans because they are not beneficial to them.

Rats and dogs living near people will hunt seabirds, then humans pollute threatening seabirds. In dangerous places, it is difficult to count seabirds by manual methods, as well as it is impossible to determine the risk of threatening seabirds.

The new counting method is based on the fact that seabirds chirp at night, the tape will be processed by a computer algorithm to determine the number of seabirds and the threats to them.
