Create virtual girls to detect pedophiles on the net
The Netherlands's Terre des hommes has trapped 1,000 pedophiles online after creating a 10-year-old Filipino virtual girl nicknamed "Sweetie," on the Internet.
The pedophiles contacted the virtual girl Sweetie and asked her to perform webcam sex acts.
In just two weeks, about 20,000 men from 71 different countries have contacted Sweetie, through which Interpol has identified the identity of about 1,000 of them.

By using "motion capture" technology to translate into computer model movement, Sweetie's girlfriend appears online just like a real person.
In 10 weeks, four members of Terre des hommes took turns bringing virtual girls to public chat rooms on the Internet. Sweetie has received offers from more than 20,000 "online children's hunters" from 71 countries and territories, willing to pay for the use of pornographic webcams.
At the press conference held on 4 November in La Haye, the representative of the Terre des hommes organization, said: "If in two months we identify the 1,000 early offenders, For a year, the police could have 100,000 such criminals. "
