David was born on September 16, 1956 in Metuchen, New Jersey, with the name "offering rice" to David Kotkin . David's magic talent appeared very early. At the age of 11, this boy was dubbed " Davino, the tiny magician " and he began making money with skillful magic tricks.

When he was 12, he was so famous that he was admitted to the Society of American Magicians.

With the intention of becoming a true magician, at the age of 16, David studied magic at the University of New York for a thorough training.

Later David changed his name to David Copperfield - the name of a character in the novel by famous English writer Charles Dickens . David Copperfield's artistic life came up like a wind: in 1974, he starred in a new music program titled " The Magic Man " in Chicago. It was performed for a long time in Chicago.

After that first resounding victory, David continuously received invitations to perform in TV shows as well as to perform in many countries around the world. These TV programs are transmitted to 40 countries around the world with an audience of up to 3 million people.

In early 2006, he and his two assistants were attacked by a band of four, carrying weapons in Florida right away. David had used his magic tricks to cheat the bandits, David flipped the bag so the thieves knew he had no money or cell phone even though he carried the thick wallet, not only that he calmly remembered License plates of bandits to alert the police.
