Modern forensic techniques show that victims may have been killed by two blows to their heads before being thrown into a cave. The truth about what happened at the Sima de los Huesos in the Atapuerca mountain range, in northern Spain , was revealed after researchers assembled 52 fragments of a skull.
Archaeologists perform excavation work on "Pit of Bones" in Spain.
They found that there are two closely spaced holes in the skull , above the left eye, caused by two separate effects from the same object and they have slightly different orbits. The injuries on the victim's skull indicate that this is not an accident. For example, an accidental fall down 13 meters (42.6ft) along a vertical vertical axis does not cause such injuries.
Dr Sala from Evolution and Human Behavior Center said: "This is the first case where there are many signs of aggression. The findings on fossils have found that this is an act of the ancient people. ".

The skull, known as Cranium 17, is part of a bone fragment of 28 fossilized bones dating back to about 430,000 years found in a cave. This is the clearest evidence that there was a murder in ancient times . Two other cases exist in fossil samples as evidence related to the murder but not clear.
This is an important finding that scientists are trying to study to find this mysterious death.
