On September 7, information from the Museum of Ethnic Minorities in Quy Chau and Nghe An districts said that the museum has received two copper axes and stone axes which are believed to be dating from 2,000-3,000 years ago Tran Quoc Kien's family, Chieng Ban village, Chau Thang commune, Quy Chau district.
According to Kien, in May 2012, he went to reclaim, opened the water ditch from the river to his home, discovered the copper ax and stone ax in the ground.

The ax-shaped copper axes are slanted, mossy green, with a full length from the head to the tongue, 9.2cm; tongue 7.5cm wide.
The ax is exquisitely crafted, with a throat guard to hold 5.2cm long, oval cross section. In front of the ax, there is a round handle, around the ax surface, there appear many streaks of stone veins .
And the stone ax is yellow gray, shoulders, trapezoidal. The ax is sharpened with sharpened blades, 5cm long, 3cm wide, 1.5cm thick.
"Based on the shape and material, the copper ax belongs to Dong Son culture , the new stone age, about 2,000 to 3,000 years ago. And the stone ax belongs to the new post-stone period.
