Detecting leopard frogs

Scientists have discovered a new frog known scientifically as Tree Leopard in New York City, USA.

This new frog is discovered when biologists hear special cries, which are different from the frog's cry. Characteristics of this frog species is the skin like leopard, black speckled, green skin background.

Analyzing its heredity, experts found, this could be a leopard frog that once lived in Manhattan.

Expert Jeremy Feinberg of Rutgers University (New Jersey, USA) said: ' At first, I heard a strange, strange frog. I guess that's not the usual frog. It repeated that cry and we discovered this frog . '

The exact location to find this frog is in the Statenn Island area, between New York City and New Jersey. Some experts at the University of California Los Angeles also said amphibians like frogs often live in hiding and are difficult to find.

To date, more than a dozen leopard species have been found from Canada to Central America. The detection and conservation of animals in the current ecological environment is essential.
