However, the stomach and intestines are much more sensitive to mental stress than the heart. Although you are the best and most seasoned liar in the world, your stomach still denounces your intentions more than your heart.

Sixteen healthy volunteers participating in the study had to do three things: 1 / Do nothing. 2 / Tell the truth. 3 / Lying. They were measured at the same time the changes in the stomach and heart rate. The researchers found that the method of detecting a lie through the gastrointestinal tract was more accurate.
