Scientists at Saint Louis University (USA) have discovered the molecular mechanism for HIV / AIDS virus to penetrate into healthy cells in the human body.
Through research, experts found that the Integrase protein is one of three proteins that determine the existence of HIV virus.
It joins two DNA ends of the HIV virus before penetrating into the cell. When infiltrating inside the cell, Integrase burns two ends of the DNA to help HIV / AIDS virus penetrate the cell's chromosome and replicate.
Experts say that if the activity of Integrase is prevented, the virus penetration process will not happen.
