Sending or receiving a text message while driving causes the driver a mean of 4.6 seconds and is at risk of accident at any time. TextBuster uses a discreet installation module beneath the car's dashboard and a mobile application to send a lock signal to the driver's phone via Bluetooth, preventing them from receiving or sending messages. This system does not affect the other devices of the rest of the car, while the driver can still receive calls and connect to the global positioning system (GPS) as usual.

The device only works when the engine is running and it is password protected, so the driver can not disable it. This device will control any destructive attempts by the driver, by sending a warning message to the parent, guardian or account holder who signs up for the service. TextBuster, priced at $ 179 (about 3.7 million), can also track the speed and schedule of the car.

TextBuster has been praised by Comsumer Reports, a well-respected US consumer magazine, for its "simple and fun" use.
