Disappointingly the whole Norwegian land is being 'pulled' to the sea and sank

The incident on the Norwegian coast caused an entire land area with 8 houses to sink into the sea.

According to the Daily Mail, the video recorded by the remote control plane showed a terrifying sight when an entire area looked like it was being slowly pulled out to sea and sunk.

The scene was recorded in the town of Alta in northern Norway, believed to be caused by landslides. It is not clear whether the landslide caused human damage because the local police force is not sure if anyone is in the land submerged by sea water.

Torfinn Halvari, local police told The Local: 'We are sending people to the field to verify and assess places at risk of landslides'.

Halvari said a dog swept out to sea in an avalanche swam back to the mainland.

Others wrote: 'Keep in mind that nature is always harsh. One day you drive home and find the whole neighborhood submerged. '

The third one commented: 'It is unbelievable. Even the land wants to leave in 2020. '

Landslides often occur during heavy rains or floods, weakening the underlying soil. The ground slowly split and was submerged by water.

Mohammad Heidarzadeh, an expert in the Daily Mail, said that Norway is prone to such disasters because of its weak clay . 'The coastal region of Norway is mainly weak clay foundation, combined with heavy rain and strong waves causing slipping into the sea , ' Heidarzadeh said.

Another reason is that the ground becomes noticeably weaker after the ice melts . Norway can sink in snow and ice throughout the winter and until spring, the phenomenon of melting ice changes the land.
