Discover a large hamster like a buffalo, as strong as a tiger

The strange creature with a large body like a buffalo and ivory-like set of teeth has lived on Earth about three million years ago.

The exotic hamster lived three million years ago

Have you ever thought of a guinea pig (another name, Guinea pig) with an incisor-like incisor, carrying a giant body of a buffalo? They used to exist, at least about three million years ago.

Experts say that this animal used its large set of front teeth to defend and feed. This is considered to be the largest size mouse family that ever existed on Earth, they weigh about a ton and have the same bite force as a tiger.

Scientists named this animal Josephoartigasia monesi . They are described as a combination of guinea pig and beaver with a height of up to 1.5 meters. This hamster lives in South American forests, where they can avoid attacks from dangerous raptors and dangerous tigers.

This Josephoartigasia species uses teeth to bite, dig, eat, and defend itself, in the same way that modern elephants use ivory . A fossil skull of this animal was found in San Jose, Uruguay. Initial studies have recreated the animal image from the skull. A Josephoartigasia is 3 meters long, calculated from the tip of the nose to the tail. Its tail is very short. Its jaws can swallow a small animal. However, it seems that this animal's food is fruit and vegetables.
