Discover new dinosaurs that are thirstier than bloody tyrants
Researchers have unearthed fossils of a new dinosaur in the desert of Kyzylkum, Uzbekistan (Asia). This dinosaur has a smaller bone structure than the T-rex tyrant, but possesses more sophisticated brains and senses, making them one of the most terrifying carnivores of the time.
Scientists say the dinosaur fossil named Timurlengia euotica lived 90 million years ago during the Cretaceous period can help explain how the Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex) dinosaurs evolved into one of the most dangerous predators on Earth and topped the food chain 70-80 million years ago.
They scanned images and used digital technology to simulate the brain structure, sinuses, nerves, blood vessels and ear structure of Timurlengia species. They have a perfect structure, so this dinosaur is able to hear sound at the lowest frequency excellently.

Timurlengia is relatively small in size but possesses the same brain and senses as the giant T-Rex predator . Biologist Steve Brusatte of the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, said: " This tells us that this species is extremely intelligent when they mature. Timurlengia is faster and chases prey better than T-rex. "
He judged Timurlengia's brain and senses had evolved dramatically before reaching the equivalent size of T-rex tyrants. The first Timurlengia lived about 170 million years ago, only slightly larger than a human.

In addition, scientists also identified one of the major factors that played a role in the evolution of the tyrant dinosaurs, the massive eruption erupted by volcanoes 94 million years ago. They suspect fire and lava killed many of the fiercest predatory carnivores at the time, and created the opportunity for the rise of the T-rex tyrant dinosaurs.
The discovery of fossils of Timurlengia is considered an important finding. It helps people explain how the tyrant dinosaurs evolved to become one of the most dangerous predators on Earth.
