The temple was built before humans invented writing. It is located in a prehistoric settlement, near Nebelivka, Ukraine today. The entire settlement is 238 hectares, including more than 1,200 buildings and nearly 50 roads.

According to Live Science, the temple is 20 meters wide and 60 meters long. This is a two-story building made of wood and clay, the upper floor divided into 5 rooms. Inside the temple remains the remains of 8 clay pedestals, which may have been an altar; a pedestal containing many sheep bones burned like sacrifices. The lower floor has a courtyard with many animal bones and pottery fragments.

"The floor and all the walls of the 5 upper floors are decorated with red paint, create a ceremonial atmosphere," Nataliya Burdo and Mykhailo Videiko, two researchers of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, said. good.

In the archaeological area, the team discovered more fragments of many figurines. One of them looks like a human but has a sharp point like a bird's beak and two eyes are not the same. Bone and gold decorations at the temple are less than 2.54cm in size, can be worn on hair.
