This is the "excavation of life", according to scientists.

According to excavation site manager Mark Knight, the excavation provides a "genuine view" of a world that no longer exists, a prehistoric settlement about 3,000 years ago in the Bronze Age.

A huge rectangular camp tent, about 1,000 square meters wide, was erected to facilitate excavation.

Archaeologists began their work here since September last year. Thanks to tents, they are protected from rain and wind. Therefore, they dug a few meters deep above sea level.

This area was first noticed in 1999 when a series of wooden poles plugged into clay. Later, the trial excavation began in 2004. By 2006, a sword and a spear of the Bronze Age were found.

According to archaeologists, the village experienced a big fire about 3,000 years ago. Therefore, the village collapsed and floated down into the nearby river. Everything gets dense with ash, sinking down to silt. This has helped the devices to be well preserved to this day.
