Discovering ancient tombs

In the process of digging and repairing houses, Mr. Pham Van Nam in sub-zone 6, Hai Thanh ward, Dong Hoi city (Quang Binh) discovered an ancient tomb and some pieces of Ming Dynasty pottery.

In the process of digging and repairing houses, Mr. Pham Van Nam in sub-zone 6, Hai Thanh ward, Dong Hoi city (Quang Binh) discovered an ancient tomb and some pieces of Ming Dynasty pottery.

At the tomb site, there is a stone stele with 5 ancient Chinese characters engraved, translated as 'Ly Kieu Oanh Princess' . The tomb around this tomb also has some pieces of pottery belonging to the Ming Dynasty (XIV - XV century).

According to experts, the ancient tomb owner is related to the historical figure of Ho Cuu - a general at the end of Tran's life, who was considered the Patriarch who had the right to establish the hamlet in Nhan Trach area, Bo Trach district.
