Discovering fruits that work like Viagra

Viagra has long been dubbed

Viagra has long been dubbed the "preventive pharmacy" because it helped improve the sex life of millions of men around the world. Now, experts say, eating a handful of blueberries three times a week can also have the same effect as Viagra in the treatment of erectile dysfunction in men.

In fact, the researchers found, for men, eating a small amount of blueberries like these helps significantly improve sexual function similar to walking 5 hours / week. They believe that this particular effect is due to compounds called flavanoids and especially anthycyanins - organic compounds in red or burgundy color.

In addition to blueberries, these flavanoids, including anthycyanins, also naturally exist in cherries, raspberries and red beets.

In the new study, the researchers looked at six common flavonoids and found three of them, including anthocyanin, flavanone and flavone , particularly useful.

Men who regularly eat foods high in flavonoids reduce their risk of erectile dysfunction by 10%.

Citrus fruits, which contain flavanone and flavone compounds, have the same effect as a glass of red wine in recovering the " little boy" malfunctioning men. Flavanoid compounds in these fruits have been found to reduce 14% of impotence.

Although we know flavanoids have many health benefits, new research by the University of East Anglia (UK) and Harvard University (USA) is the first to discover that a diet Flavanoid-rich balm also works to prevent erectile dysfunction such as brisk walking up to 5 hours / week. And combining a flavanoid-rich diet with walking even improves your chances of "fighting" for this disease by 21%.

The treatment of erectile dysfunction also has other benefits, because the "little boy" problem is often a sign of poor blood circulation and a weakened heart. According to researchers, erectile dysfunction is an early warning sign of heart disease.

The study, published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, notes the greatest effect of flavanoid-rich foods in people under 70 years of age.
