According to scientists, this is a sign of Sa Huynh culture for the first time discovered in the mountains of Quang Nam. In early July this year, Quang Nam General Museum in collaboration with History Department, University of Social Sciences and Humanities - National University officially organized the excavation of this relic.

Mr. Nguyen Chieu - Lecturer in History Department, University of Social Sciences and Humanities - National University said: "Often other relics people buried quite concentrated, and through the graves can know the population density. the number and duration of residence, and the results are not much in recent weeks, but it can be said that this is a place where people live a short time with a small number of people, people in the metal age are often on the side East, buried in the West If this area is a burial place, then in the old days, it can be in the East region, the crowded place of this village 8. This is the Sa Huynh cultural site with the existence of nearly 2000 years. year".

Though the ruins were crumbling, it still reminded researchers of a brilliant Champa culture that existed for centuries on the central strip of Central Vietnam; and this excavation aims to understand and study the distribution density of Sa Huynh culture in Central Vietnam in general and Quang Nam province in particular; At the same time, learn about the culture of the Cham Pa who live in the high mountains, different from the Cham Pa living in the coastal plain.

The excavation and research has just begun, the results are not much found. However, from archaeological documents found underground, Cham Pa residents have been living in the high mountains of Quang Nam province ; and clearly in his history, Tien Phuoc used to be the residence of Cham Pa residents from the 5th to 6th century BC, with a low population density and settling soon because of difficult terrain. towels for agricultural production.
