Picture 1 of Dog attacked by large python and the unexpected 'turnaround'

The dog struggled continuously to escape while being tightly held by the python.

The clip was recorded by a witness in Kenya, showing a domestic dog resting under a tree when suddenly a large python attacked and wrapped itself tightly. The python was so large that people around did not dare to intervene to rescue the dog.

The python was identified as an African rock python , a species of python found mainly in central and southern Africa. The African rock python is one of the largest pythons in the world, reaching a maximum length of 6m and weighing up to 200kg.

With the python's large size and strong grip, it seemed the dog had no chance to fight back against the predator. The dog continuously struggled to escape, barking and making loud noises to show the pain of being tightly wrapped by the python.

At one point, the dog escaped the predator's grip, but the python quickly rushed after it, pecking to retain its prey.

After struggling desperately for a while, it seemed like the dog had to accept its fate of becoming a meal for the python. However, the dog used all its remaining strength, suddenly struggled and escaped from the grip. The dog also took the opportunity to run away from the predator.

The dog's efforts eventually paid off, saving the animal's life from the fearsome predator.
