Dog breed known as 'four great war dogs' and the nemesis of wolves

The Kangal is a breed of hunting dog that originated during the reign of the Assyrian king Ashurbanipal. It is considered one of the "Four Great War Dogs" and is also the national dog and national treasure of Turkey. It is so highly respected that even the country's coins feature the Kangal.

Kangal Dog is also known as Sivas Kangal Dog , Anatolian Shepherd Dog . In Turkish, they are called Karabash, which means black head. They are considered a national treasure in Turkey.
