Doubt about diseases originating from ... alien

Many people believe that mad cow disease, Ebola, Zika, even HIV and SARS originate from outside the universe.

Many people believe that mad cow disease, Ebola, Zika, even HIV and SARS originate from outside the universe.

For years, scientists have believed that the germ of life may have come to Earth from outer space meteors. This theory is called "panspermia" and it answers many questions about human origin. However, these same scientists believe that many strange bacteria and viruses are still landing on Earth, causing many strange diseases.

1. Pandoravirus

Picture 1 of Doubt about diseases originating from ... alien

If you only hear the name, surely this new virus is not enough to worry you, unless you know some information about it. This is a giant virus, with a size 10 times larger than the largest viruses ever recorded.

Discovered by French scientists in 2013, this unique and exotic microorganism was found only in two places on Earth: off Chile and in a pond in Australia. In particular, it only owns 6% of the genetic structure similar to what has existed on the planet.

This leads to many opinions that it does not originate from Earth. It may sound ridiculous but, in fact, researchers are conducting serious analysis of the possibility of Pandoravirus coming from a different planet. But don't worry too much, even if it comes from Mars, it won't cause any serious health problems.

2. Mad cow disease

Mad cow disease (also called porous cow's brain) is a devastating disease that occasionally flares up and paralyzes the beef industry. Worse, it can infect humans when eating infected meat, leading to dementia and even death. Microorganisms called "prions" are the cause of disease and some people believe that their strangeness is not merely a coincidence.

Indian scientists have recently stated that the bacteria that attack this cow's brain may come from comets as they travel through the Earth. Cosmic stars and cosmic dust from a comet have been found to contain chemical structures very similar to prions and many other microorganisms.

3. Salmonella mutation

In 2006, the STS-115 Shuttle made an experiment: Salmonella was cultured on board to observe its development in space. The astronauts were shocked to see the ideas only in the science fiction story.

Microbes on the spacecraft showed strong mutations with a very large number of genes - 167 genes with changes in the production of 73 proteins. Experiments with mice also show that mutant bacteria will kill more species in places similar to Earth, even when there is less bacteria.

4. Spanish flu

Picture 4 of Doubt about diseases originating from ... alien

In 1918, the world experienced one of the most traumatic epidemics of all time with a record number of deaths. Called the Spanish flu, the disease infects one-third of the Earth's population and kills about 20 million people. This is a very deadly strain of the virus and British astronomer Sir Fred Hoyle gave a hypothesis about its origin.

He said that the comet itself brought strange viruses outside the planet into the atmosphere. They are then blown down to the Earth's surface by the energy emitted by the Sun's black spot activity. This activity peaked every 11 years, pushing "tiny invaders" to the ground.

No one has ever been able to prove the validity of this hypothesis, but it is still argued that the global flu epidemics over the past 250 years have had a 11-year cycle, meaning the Western flu disaster. Nha may be the first large-scale "invasion" of alien creatures.

5. Ebola

Picture 5 of Doubt about diseases originating from ... alien

Ebola is one of the most terrible diseases we can imagine. Causing severe bleeding and ending in pain, it is actually a worse endurance than death. Therefore, the 2014 outbreak caused the world to sink into a bloody terror.

Ashley Dale (University of Bristol, UK) has proposed a hypothesis that millions of years ago, Ebola virus could have come to Earth from a meteorite collision. Citing evidence that microscopic life forms existed in space, alien rocks have taken them to Earth.

This strange lethal virus then adapted to the conditions of our planet before finding the perfect "owners": people. The evidence is not entirely convincing but it is still considered an attractive explanation for a terrible disease on Earth.

6. "Super" Zika

Picture 6 of Doubt about diseases originating from ... alien

Until now, the whole world has really "absorbed" and worried about Zika virus. Birth defects caused by this disease are too scary, besides, the ability of rapid changes in the virus is another cause of concern. It changes faster than we can imagine due to the ability to absorb foreign DNA.

According to researchers at Buckingham University, it is extremely dangerous. The only explanation for the accidental adaptation of the virus is its ability to spread through sexual contact, due to the absorption of foreign DNA.

The team believes that Zika is using extraterrestrial genes to create foreign bacteria through space debris. If this is the case, the virus will be out of control and threaten humanity.

7. SARS

Picture 7 of Doubt about diseases originating from ... alien

In 2002, the acute respiratory failure virus (SARS) first appeared in China. In a short time, it has spread throughout the world.

The sudden appearance of such a deadly disease made many people, including scientists from the Cardiff Space Biology Center (UK), wonder about its origin. They suspected that cosmic dust filled with viruses could fall through the atmosphere and land in the eastern Himalayas, where the stratosphere is the thinnest.

Later, these bacteria began to infect local people and because the human immune system was unable to fight foreign bacteria, it quickly spread. This hypothesis sounds bizarre, but is widely accepted for the sudden outbreak of this deadly virus.

8. HIV

Picture 8 of Doubt about diseases originating from ... alien

Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe, an astrophysicist from the University of Buckingham (UK), thinks that HIV is not only one of the most feared viruses on the planet but also a virus of complete origin.

Wickramasinghe and his team believe that viruses like HIV are constantly being brought into Earth through comet collisions. Even one of such viruses could be the cause of the extinction of dinosaurs.

9. Morgellons disease

Picture 9 of Doubt about diseases originating from ... alien

Morgellons is a skin disorder syndrome that makes people almost mad because they always feel itchy.

According to the Morgellons Research Fund (MRF), about 95% of patients fall into a state of fatigue and inability to function, a stagnant mind . Other syndromes are joint pain , sleep disturbance, hair loss, vision loss, even some healthy teeth of some people become ragged.

Experiments show that their structure is not the same as any other cell type. Many people believe that it does not originate from Earth but may be the result of exotic alien parasites clinging to the Genesis space probe when falling into the Utah desert in 2004.
