Dozens of people were hospitalized after the earthquake struck."About 60 or 70 people were taken to regional hospitals , " a local official, Alonso Navarro, told a Peruvian radio station. Most wounded people are broken bones, shaken or scratched because they are hit by falling objects in the earthquake.
