Email has ... fragrance

The first time a tasteful email was sent across the Atlantic. On June 18, scientists conducted a test of a "fragrant email" from Paris to the Museum of Natural History in New York, USA.

How does this system work? First, the sender creates a file called oNote through the oSnap application installed on the iPhone. This application allows the sender to select and combine 32 basic scents. With 32 basic fragrances, one can combine up to 300,000 different fragrances.

Email will then be sent to the device . This device is equipped with a chip and a "scent vocabulary set" , which will emit the corresponding flavor that the sender has chosen. Each fragrance will last for 10 seconds.

Professor Edward is expected to perform oPhone at the cafe in Paris in the near future, as well as early commercialization of this product for $ 149 (3.1 million).
