To help create equality between people with disabilities and ordinary people, the Virginia-based company has developed a device that allows blind people to drive their cars.

The competition for this device has been organized by the National Association of the Blind. It is well known that the company has found technology to help the blind to drive long, but only now they deployed to the reality.

When a blind man sits at the wheel of a car, all the obstacles on the road that the blind man sees will turn into a signal to the special gloves the driver must wear.

Continuous sensing devices record space in front of a vehicle, if there are obstructions appearing in front of the vehicle, they will emit informational signals with fairly detailed parameters of the vehicle. It can overlap or be avoided.

If you need to avoid to the left, the glove on the left will receive the signal, while the obstacle on the right is the signal to the right gloves. Thanks to such signals combined with habits and practice, the blind can drive at slow speeds on the roads for themselves, but even so it is too good.

Of course, for situations where the driver's eyesight must be treated not simply. Experts are trying to improve and complete the technology to serve visually impaired people for more convenience.
