Perminov said the Russian Space Agency had drafted proposals for space research from now until 2040, which included a proposal to establish a system to protect the Earth from meteorites after 2026.

According to scientists' calculations, in 2029 Apophis meteorite will fly across the Earth at a distance of 40,000km and in 2036 the probability of this meteorite's impact on the Earth is very high.
