Evade mosquitoes by infrared wall
Experimental physicist Szabolcs Marka is developing the idea of protecting people from mosquitoes and some insects by infrared wall.

This physicist is completing a project that uses infrared light to erect a wall between humans and mosquitoes, as well as some of the more common insects such as butterflies and bees. In theory, it is possible to use light to create a space barrier, so that mosquitoes will be blocked outside the 'fence' of light.

'Mosquitoes are afraid of this wall. They can fly through the wall without pain but they do not dare. This is a special project because we do not have to kill them, just kick them out , "explains Mark.
The technology that Mark uses is quite simple. A laser beam in the direction we choose to block mosquitoes fly into the house or space desired. The direction and shape of the beam are easy to adjust.
Marka has been funded $ 100,000 since 2008 and $ 1 million from the Bill and Melinda Foundation to develop ideas that are widely available, especially in areas where malaria is raging like Africa.
